4 Week Countdown!

T minus 4 weeks until blast off! I'm excited to be headed off on a trip of a lifetime to South America with a good friend from high school. This is the last hurrah before I start my residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology in July, and definitely the last time I will have more than one week off at a time!

Where we are headed:
March 18: take off - non stop flight from Dallas-Ft. Worth, Texas to Santiago Chile

March 19-21: Santiago, Chile

March 21: fly from Santiago, Chile to Mendoza, Argentina

March 21-24: Mendoza, Argentina (with 2 days of winery tours with a private driver!!)

March 24-25: 14-hour overnight bus to Buenos Aires, Argentina

March 25-30: Buenos Aires, Argentina (with one day ferry trip to Colonia del Sacramento, Uruguay)

March 30: fly from Buenos Aires, Argentina to Lima, Peru

March 31: fly from Lima, Peru to Cusco, Peru; spent half-day in Cusco

April 1: early train to Aguas Calientes, Peru - spend the day there

April 2: early bus to Machu Picchu; train back to Cusco, Peru

April 3: fly from Cusco, Peru back to Lima, Peru

April 4: enjoy day in Lima, Peru

April 5: overnight flight from Lima, Peru to Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas

I'm out of breath just thinking about it! Many memories and amazing pictures to come!
